Our Year 11 students enjoyed an unforgettable week visiting Avondale University, combining learning, adventure, and faith. Highlights included Sydney Harbour experiences, campus life at Avondale, outdoor challenges like bouldering and abseiling, meaningful worship at Festival of Faith, and time exploring Sunnyside and Newcastle’s coastline.
Through every moment, even unexpected challenges, students showed resilience, teamwork, and courage, building friendships and growing in independence and faith. A truly memorable experience!

🌟 Stay and Play – Our First End‑of‑Term Gathering! 🌟

What a lovely way to finish the term with our very first Stay and Play community gathering! It was a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to stay back after school, connect, chat, and enjoy time together on the last day of term.

The wind made an appearance, but thanks to the hot drinks from La La Latte, everyone stayed warm and cosy ☕

We’re already looking forward to welcoming you back for our second Stay and Play at the end of Term 2, we can’t wait to see you there!

What a fantastic stretch of sport for our students! 🏐🏸

Some of our Year 10 students recently represented our school at the Volleyball Tournament on Sunday, 29 March, hosted in our school gym and organised by the Youth Department of the South Australian SDA Conference.
It was an action‑packed day showcasing teamwork, growing volleyball skills, and plenty of fun!

We also celebrate outstanding success at the SACSA Badminton Competition, where Prescott Southern proudly entered six teams across Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 divisions. All teams played with determination, excellent skill, and admirable sportsmanship in a very competitive field.

A huge congratulations to our Year 7/8 girls team and our Year 9/10 Girls Gold team, who went undefeated all day and were both crowned 2026 SACSA Badminton Champions. An incredible achievement! 🏆

Thank you also to our Year 10 student coaches, for their leadership and guidance of the Year 9/10 girls team.

We are so proud of all our students for representing the school with pride. 👏
